U.S. Department of Energy’s Energy-Water Desalination Hub

The U.S. Department of Energy is funded a $100 million dollar early-stage research consortia, known as the Energy-Water Desalination Hub (Hub). The presenter will provide an overview of the Hub’s purpose/goals, the selected team to lead this effort, and major the year 1 activities. Attendees can learn how to get involved as affiliates or members of the Hub, such as competing in future workshops; providing data to help benchmark current state of technologies for desalination, water efficiency, water reuse, and resource recovery; and compete for funding in future request for proposals issued by the Hub.
