This paper will provide a survey of process design trends in municipal membrane water treatment facilities throughout the Southeast United States from a variety of sources and designers. General process parameters surveyed include but are not limited to water supply source and quality, pretreatment practices, treatment unit capacity, permeate recovery, and membrane array. Nanofiltration, low pressure reverse osmosis, and desalination treatment facilities will each be grouped and corresponding ranges of design flux rate and feed pressure requirements compared.
