Startup of the Scottsdale Water Campus Large Diameter RO System

This paper will discuss the current expansion and how it is the first and largest Indirect Potable Reuse Project to utilize large diameter RO equipment. The paper discusses the procurement process that made for a competitive environment that allowed the City to save millions of dollars on the RO System. The paper will discuss the unique design aspects of the system that allow for easy operations and maintenance of the system. The Paper will discuss the construction aspects of the system and lessons learned during construction. Lastly, the paper will present the results of the first months of operation to show the large diameter RO performance as compared to the 8 inch RO equipment in the facility.
