In an arid and desert environment, water mangement is a challenge for all local public water systems, including El Paso Water. Any potable water treatment process that involves reverse osmosis is going to have a concentrate management component. This project presents an innovative way to increase the total system percent recovery by taking concentrate from a conventional reverse osmosis treatment skid and further treating with a seawater membrane application.
