Seawater Desalination and the Coastal Commission

This presentation summarizes existing and proposed seawater desalination facilities in California and describing efforts to coordinate various regulatory requirements applicable to most of these facilities. It also describes policies of the California Coastal Act and how these policies are likely to apply to various types of desalination proposals.
