For many utilities, the investigation into potable reuse, whether indirect or direct, has been prominent with no indication of slowing down. In the state of Florida, several utilities are facing water supply and discharge concerns such as increasing populations, drought and water scarcity, and anticipation of future discharge regulations to surface and coastal bodies.
