The paper describes the efforts of Harn R/O Systems, Inc. and University of Central Florida pilot beta-test program to demonstrate the usefulness of Ultrafiltration for the treatment of a highly-organic Florida surface water supply in Manatee County to produce drinking water. The purpose of the study was to conduct a beta testing investigation of a new UF membrane with respect to different conditions and procedures.
