Paper presents the results of pilot testing of nanofiltration water treatment conducted on behalf of Miami Dade Water & Sewer Department. The pilot treatment train included dual media pressure filters, strainers, cartridge filters, three stage nanofiltration array and an ultraviolet system. The testing evaluated alternative membranes and optional operational approaches with the end game of reducing costs.
