Produced water from oil field in Colombia, with capacity of 500,000 barrels/day (21 MGD) normally discharged as wastewater, is treated for irrigation water using innovative membrane treatment processes is decribed in this presentation. The same treatment can be employed in well fields in US to recover produced water for beneficial use.
