Nirobox

Some of the biggest challenges with “high-salinity”/sea water desalination; are the high costs of the civil works associated with the desalination plant, the long installation time until water can be produced, the complicated eng. work of the treatment solution and the lack of modularity making many systems not available for small, remote communities. In this presentation I will discuss Fluence’s “Nirobox” smart package water treatment solution and how it addresses the above challenges. A case study of a plant that is being constructed now days at Laguna Pueblo, NM will be presented along with the drivers for adopting the “Nirobox” package plant.
