This presentation discusses the causes and solutions for fouling problems with MBR processes. We will review the impact of the biological treatment, influent loads, influent constituents, and ancillary systems have on the MBR process. We will further discuss and present a troubleshooting framework on identifying the source of fouling and how to remedy pre-maturely fouled fouled MBR systems.
