This paper will discuss the integration of the ultrafiltration membrane system into the existing Keokuk Municipal water treatment works without disrupting the potable water supply, 18 months of operation of the first membrane skid and 6 months of operation of the second membrane skid. It will compare start up and operation of both membrane skids showing improvements made in engineering and maintenance of membrane plants.
