This presentation will introduce the spectrum of membranes used in home, municipal, and industrial applications. The membranes types will be reverse osmosis, nanofiltration, ultrafiltration, microfiltration, and membrane bioreactors. We will highlight the attributes of each membrane type ranging from what is rejected to the pressures required to accomplish this rejection.
