In-line coagulation as pre-treatment to reduce NF membrane fouling in an IMS

In-line coagulation for the Collins Park prior to microfiltration was investigated as a method to reduce fouling of the membranes and to enhance energy usage. Bench scale testing on Fletchers lake with different coagulants tested options for treatment of feed to the MF unit prior to nanofiltration.
