This paper focuses on pre-treatment with coagulation upstream of ceramic microfiltration for treating surface water on a pilot-scale in Andijk, the Netherlands. Two coagulation systems, i.e., a conventional coagulation/flocculation system and an in-line coagulation absorber (ILCA) are compared.
