The Gibson Island Advanced Water treatment plant is a 25 MGD facility that treats wastewater effluent to potable water standards. The treatment system includes Actiflo pretreatment, MF-RO-and UV/AOP with hydrogen peroxide. The treated water is used as industrial re-use and indirect potable re-use via storage reservoirs. The plant has operated for over 1 year with no signs of significant membrane fouling.
