This paper reviews the procurement process employed by OCWD to evaluate, qualify and select RO membranes for the GWRS. Given the dynamic regulatory environment and advances in membrane technology, the program has adapted to ensure that membranes are appropriately evaluated and selected. The evolution of this program, as well as performance data from previous and current trials, is presented.
