This presentation will provide an overview of Fargo Water Treatment Plant (WTP). In 2019, Fargo completed the construction and startup of a new 15-MGD Membrane WTP (MWTP). The MWTP employs Ultrafiltration (UF) and Reverse Osmosis (RO) to help treat two different water sources that are typical high in total hardness and total dissolved solids (TDS). The MWTP is operated in parallel with a 30-MGD lime softening WTP, completed in 1997.
