This presentation will explore the environmental fate and transport of PFAS compounds and examine multiple pre-treatment strategies at WRF’s to mitigate their infiltration into our water sources. In addition, implementation of several potential MBR treatment trains at WRF’s will be discussed as an effort to reduce PFAS discharges from treated effluent. Finally, several disposal methods will be discussed to address the rejection of PFAS from the MBR treatment trains.
