The purpose of this paper is to introduce and demonstrate the unique optimization of chemical addition pretreatment and ultrafiltration membrane. The Baker WV pilot presentation will focus on optimizing on chemical addition upstream of ultrafiltration system, and the corresponding contaminant removal achieved by the unit operations for this surface water and challenges encountered at this remote pilot site.
