The use of membrane water treatment technology in the midwest is gathering momentum. There are significant reasons for this: changing water quality, the need for more robust water treatment, and emerging contaminants of concern. This presentation will summarize recent activity in both the municipal and industrial sectors, identify target contaminants and why membrane treatment was chosen, and discuss design considerations.
