This paper describes an inventive program implemented by Islamorada, Village of Islands to plan, permit, design and construct a new central sewer system connecting existing residential and commercial property on Plantation Key, including a new 0.250 MGD-AADF advanced wastewater treatment plant utilizing MBR technology. MBR have proven to be a superior technology to meet the goals of this project.
