Data Collection and Normalization

The presentation will focus on the importance of accurate data collection, and the analysis of the operating data to provide support in optimizing the operation of membrane treatment systems. Beyond simple data collection, how can the data be used to provide insight into the effectiveness of current operations, and point to potential improvements. A look at where the industry has come from (paper and pen) to where it is now (real-time online data acquisition) provides the background for the presentation. Now that we have access to more and more data, what is the critically important data, and how can it be used to make informed decisions. Finally, the presentation will touch on the normalization of data.
