Best Practices for MF/UF Cleaning – Examining Operating Plant Methods

Membrane filtration plants require chemical cleaning to maintain productivity. However, cleaning practices vary greatly among operating plants due to differences in manufacturers, needs of the system, and training of plant staff. This presentation examines cleaning practices from two operating plants to compare similarities, contrast differences, and outline several areas of improvement each have pursued to improve operations.
