This paper review’s the application and design engineering process used for AVS pumps and AT Turbochargers and analyze operating experience with the AT Hydraulic Turbocharger and AVS pumps since their introduction in 2004 in a number of SWRO plants. The results of performance testing of the AVS pump is also discussed.
