Providing a New Water Supply Solution for Mexican Coastal Resorts

Two examples of development of a water supply for high-end developments in a coastal beach area are discussed in this paper. These developments include five-star hotels, luxury villas, recreational facilities and championship class golf courses. This paper describes the integration of desalination technology to produce several different types of water supply to meet different user and water quality objectives. It describes how such water supply systems are implemented by discussing the planning, preliminary design and procurement phases.
